LIVE MEETING ADDENDUM — LUMINOSITY VENTURES, LLC (DRAFT FOR ATTORNEY REVIEW)

Last updated: July 19, 2026 · Status: DORMANT — no live meeting features are currently enabled in the Service.

This Addendum is incorporated by reference into the Sunagi Terms of Use. It applies only if and when live meeting features — real-time audio, video, and transcription among participants — are enabled for your account, and only to your use of those features. Until then, it has no effect. Capitalized terms have the meanings given in the Terms of Use. If this Addendum conflicts with the Terms of Use regarding live meeting features, this Addendum controls.

1. How live meetings work

Joining a live meeting with your microphone or camera enabled streams your voice and image directly to the other participants over encrypted peer-to-peer connections and converts your speech into text visible to everyone in the room. The Service does not create, collect, or process biometric identifiers such as faceprints or voiceprints; speakers are attributed by their authenticated connection, not by analyzing voices or faces. Live meetings are not recorded by the Service, and coaching output is private to each participant.

2. Consent before capture

No microphone or camera access begins until you affirmatively consent at the join screen. The join screen states what will happen to your speech and image and links to this Addendum. You can stop at any time by muting or leaving. We keep a minimal record of your consent (the fact and time of consent and the document version you consented to) as proof that all participants agreed.

3. Organizer responsibilities and indemnity

If you organize a live meeting, you are responsible for ensuring every person whose voice or image may be captured — including persons audible near an open microphone who have not signed in — has consented to capture, transcription, and AI processing, and for complying with the recording and wiretap laws applicable to your participants, including all-party-consent rules where they apply. By organizing a meeting, you represent that you have obtained all such consents.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Luminosity and its officers and members from and against any third-party claim, and associated losses, damages, and reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your failure to obtain required consents or your violation of applicable recording, wiretap, or privacy laws in connection with a meeting you organize. The limitation of liability in the Terms of Use does not limit your obligations under this section.

4. Live Meeting Privacy Notice

When live meeting features are enabled, the following processing applies in addition to the Privacy Policy:

Meeting speech and transcripts. When you enable your microphone, your browser's built-in speech-recognition service converts your speech to text. That conversion is performed by your browser vendor (for example Google or Apple) under that vendor's own terms, and may involve sending audio to the vendor's servers. The resulting text is shared with the other participants in your room in real time. Transcript lines are relayed through our realtime infrastructure for delivery only and are not written to a database; when the meeting ends, the Service retains no copy of the transcript.

Audio and video. Live meeting audio and video stream directly between participants' browsers using encrypted peer-to-peer connections (WebRTC). We do not record, store, or have access to the content of those streams. Signaling metadata needed to establish the connections passes through our infrastructure.

Topic map and coaching output. During a live meeting the Service organizes the conversation into a topic map and generates private coaching for each participant, including synthesized coaching audio. These exist only in participants' browsers during the meeting and are discarded when the meeting ends; they are not stored by the Service.

AI processing. Transcript excerpts, together with your profile and goals, are processed by Anthropic to generate your private coaching and topic summaries; coaching audio is synthesized by ElevenLabs from the coaching text. These providers do not use your content to train their models under the terms we use them. Your browser vendor's speech-recognition service acts as an additional subprocessor in live mode.

Recipients. Other participants in your meeting room receive your display name, role, live audio/video, and transcribed speech.

Retention. Meeting audio/video: never stored. Transcripts, topic maps, and coaching output: browser-only during the meeting, retained by the Service never. Consent records: for the life of your account and up to two years afterward for legal compliance.

Withdrawing consent. Mute or leave the meeting at any time; capture of your speech and image stops immediately.

5. Recording laws

The Service does not record meetings, but transcription makes speech visible as text to everyone in the room. Some jurisdictions require the consent of all parties to a conversation before it may be captured or transcribed. Every participant consents at the join screen; organizers are responsible for anyone else within capture range, as described in Section 3.

6. Changes

We may update this Addendum as live meeting features evolve. For material changes we will provide notice as described in the Terms of Use. If live meeting features are enabled for the first time after you accepted the Terms of Use, we will flag that change prominently in the Service before it takes effect.
